Activity Sync Android app terms of service

Effective date:

1) Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Activity Sync ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2) The service

The App allows you to read your activities from Fitbit and upload activities to Strava. You control whether and when a sync occurs.

3) Accounts and permissions

  • You are responsible for maintaining access to your Fitbit and Strava accounts.
  • You authorize the App to access Fitbit activity data (read access) and to upload/create activities on Strava (write/upload access) for the purpose of syncing.
  • You can revoke permissions at any time from your Fitbit and/or Strava account settings.

4) No server-side storage

The App is designed to sync data directly between Fitbit and Strava. The App does not store your activity data on our servers.

5) Acceptable use

  • Do not use the App in a way that violates any law or infringes anyone's rights.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the App, the Fitbit services, or the Strava services.
  • Do not misuse the App to upload inaccurate, unlawful, or harmful content to Strava.

6) Third-party services

Fitbit and Strava are third-party services not operated by us. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of their services.

We are not responsible for third-party outages, API changes, permission changes, or restrictions that affect syncing.

7) Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) at any time, including to maintain security or comply with third-party requirements.

8) Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that syncing will always be successful, uninterrupted, or error-free.

The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.

10) Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you are violating these Terms or creating risk for others.

11) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.
